Customer overrides let you change feature access for a specific customer without modifying products or pricing. They are useful when you need to grant or revoke access on a one-off basis. Overrides always take precedence over product-based feature access.
Customer overrides do not change products, subscriptions, or pricing. They only affect feature access evaluation.

What are customer overrides?

Overrides apply directly to a customer and override product access. Use overrides to:
  • Grant access to a feature not included in the customer’s product
  • Revoke access temporarily
  • Increase or reduce a limit for a specific customer
  • Handle exceptions without creating new products Overrides apply immediately and only affect the targeted customer.

Creating a customer override in the dashboard

Customer overrides are managed from the customer details page in the dashboard. Typical flow:
  1. Open a customer
  2. Navigate to the Overrides section
  3. Select a feature
  4. Define the override behavior
  5. Save
The override is applied as soon as it’s created. TODO: Screenshot of customer override UI
